- If you are on a system where what you type is being echoed back to you,
- the +++ sent by your modem being echoed by the other end, putting their
- modem into command mode as well. If you set your S2 register to use a
- different command character, i.e. "---" instead of "+++", sending the
- "---" to your modem won't put the remote modem in command mode and you'll
- be ok.

- Why do you need to turn off Auto Answer while connected though??? Why not
- do it without the connection?
